What are Augmentative and Alternative  Communication Rounds?

Augmentative Alternative Communication Rounds are a series of educational meetings in which information is shared regarding a variety of topics in the field of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). In the past, sessions have been held on the following topics:

within the Assistive Devices Program (ADP), Ministry of Health (Ontario). The topics for Rounds are selected to address both adult and paediatric AAC issues. The Organizing Committee prepares a schedule of topics/locations annually, based upon feedback received previously from participants.
